Ayita smiled, and then crouched down to the ground. Suddenly, he pushed up and began flapping his wings. After a few moments, he was in the air, soaring over the land. He loved the feel of the wing in his face, and not having his feet touch the ground. He closed his eyes for a moment and smiled, then, because he nearly lost his balance, he re-opened them. He then spotted Velluii on the ground. It looked as though she was stalking a rabbit or a mouse. He smiled and then continued spying on the ground. Then, he saw, what was it? A big, moving figure... A bear! Bears could be very dangerous, and even he didn't think it wise to face off against one. Ayita shuddered, thinking of a bear attacking the camp. He decided to warn Veluii, so the young wolf turned around quickly and aimed all his speed on landing. Soon, he was skidding to a stop, a good amount of fox-lengths away from her, so that she wouldn't lose her prey. He felt figety, but he still forced himself to look around for prey. If he were waiting, why not take some food of his own? So, he began to scent the air, and caught the trace of a weasel. He smiled, knowing how weasels tasted, and crouched to the ground, starting to stalk the scent. [black] Veluii simply kept her bright, different colored eyes set on the bushes. At times it would move and shudder a bit, that was when she would skip herself a little more. Then suddenly- the rabbit dove out, swiftly the slim brown shaded alpha'ess charged after it, keeping her eyes directly on the small rodent. Not figuring any of her surrondings, before she knew it the sight of the hare was gone. She closed for a moment, the sniffed a bit. Fresh blood was running through her nostrils. "Who's there!" she yelped, figuring another wolf had captured it. When her eyes peered upward, a large- brown figure was digging into a small hare. Oh no! Veluii thought in her mind, all she could think of was getting away. Though this wolf wasn't good at keeping quiet, as she slowly hid herself in one of the shrubs, her tail quivered a bit. Hitting against a small branch. She gasped, knowing the bear would turn around instantly. "I can't go back to camp!" she cried, diving through the minor obsticles of the tree's and forest. Veluii looked over her shoulder to make sure the bear was actually after her before she began to cry. It wasn't... She sighed with relief, then began trotting back to camp. The alpha began panting, not just from exhaustion but from fear. "Thank Starpack," she sighed, but after that single moment. She felt a deep, breathing of hare blood over her shoulder, it's breath was hot and stinky, Veluii could only gulp, until she broke into a complete dash.[/black] Ayita watched the whole thing, painfully. He needed to help her, but if he got involved with the bear they could've both been fresh kill. He was relieved when she began bounding towards the camp, and decided to follow her. They had to get the wolves together and plan an attack, or something, on the bear. It could be a menace to camp, and that would be terrible.
"Velluii! Velluii!" Ayita called her name through the trees as he ran his fastest to catch up with her. Every few foxlengths he traveled he'd spread his wings a bit, sending him shooting just a bit further. "Veluii!" He called, one last time as they neared camp.

The wolf smiled cheesly, whipping his tail back and forth as a sudden breeze hit against his fur. "It's not too far ahead," he breathed, whipping around to the north. "We live on the top of the mountain, which is shadey and cool." Zonar began, his voice strong yet mellow. "We have a beautiful river, filled with salmon- which is the downside... bears usually are drawn to our pack, but it's not always a threat when a mother has cubs with her. All we need to do is run up to them as a pack and look scary, the cubs will run- the mother will get defensive then realize she cant take down a whole pack." he explained, laughing a bit as he did so. For once in a while he enjoyed himself. Kaeinn laughed quietly, her voice smooth and melodic. She moved closer to Zonar, trying to see everything he was telling her. "You love this place," she murmured, mostly to herself. The sun was getting higher in the sky, warming her pelt.

Zonar kept his gaze on the boiling heat of the sun. "I do, much." he agreed, looking over at Kaeinn. Her dazzeling pelt made his eyes almost water, then he turned his shaggy head back to the sun. "I feel safe here, with my mother. My sister, my family..." he breathed modestly. "I'm sure you will also, it's great!" Zonar smiled slightly, nodding his head as they finally made the peak. Suddenly, the weather changed into a cool shadow as the sun was beginning to be blocked by a large, black cloud. "Uh oh, we better suit you in quickly... seems as if we are going to have a small rain shower."
[black] Veluii kept her eyes tightly shut, knowing bears weren't nearly as smart as canines. When suddenly, she heard her name be called. "Ayaita!" she barked, opening her eyes knowing she made a total mistake. Starpack help me! she cried in her mind, her only chance was to make a run for it. As she felt the breeze of the large grizzly roaring, about to swipe his large, clawed paw at her. She bolted at high speeds, searching everywhere for her winged companion.
"Ayita help me!" she moaned, tears slipping down her face as she felt the tough vibrations of the bear behind her. [/black]

Kaeinn laughed again. "It's alright," she said, "I like the rain." She tipped her muzzle up, and sniffed. She loved the smell of rain. How it washed everything clean, and chased away the dry heat... Her tail moved slightly, and her eyes sparkled.

The wolf felt a tingle in his throat, knowing the storm wasn't just rain. "Well, it seems like there will be a bit of thunder and lightning to include. So I think we should keep ourselves out of it until it calms down." he explained, starring at the dark clouds as a tiny droplet of rain hit his light brown nose. He blinked lightly as it happened.

Kaeinn remembered who she was with. She glanced down at her paws. "A-alright," she stammered. She felt silly and nervous. She looked up at the male, and her paws began to quiver. She made no attempt to stop them. You forget yourself, Kaeinn, a voice in her head spoke. Kaeinn shivered. She knew that voice. It was her father, come back to haunt her. You forget who you really are. "No," she whispered, afraid. "I don't want to remember. Please... don't make me remember!"

Zonar sprung his ears up, head shooting over to the strange wolfess. "All I said was that it's probably going to thunderstorm? I'm not trying to make you remember anything..." he barked, tryiing to get whatever she was talking about into an understandment. The short male unfolded his wings, hearing a lone cry out from the distance. "Veluii!" he cried, looking at the forest from where the cry had sprung from.

Kaeinn's ears pricked. Her blood rushed in her veins, panic started to build. She forgot all nervousness when she heard the cry. Adrenaline surged through her body. She knew that sound. She couldn't forget that sound. Only this time, the cry was from a full grown wolf. Kaeinn's instincts told her to run. "We have to go," she barked simply to Zonar, her voice full of urgency. Her muscles bunched and she sprang forward, racing towards the endangered wolf.

Zonar had no need to look back, he knew Kaeinn was a rather loyal wolf and she would instantly follow rather leave while she could. The bat-winged juqueso wolf lifted his hind legs into the air, front paws digging at the ground to give him a strong boost towards his mother. "Mother!" he howled, excitement and horror running through his high pitched tone. When suddenly, he came to a halt. His mother lay in a cold figure under a tree, flower petals sprinkling off the tree above her onto her light brown pelt. "Veluii...?" he breathed, approaching the small wolfess carefully.
Tears came to his eyes when he saw her, "Mother no!" he growled to himself... pawing and licking at her muzzle. A light moan came from the figure, but no sign of life. Zonar pricked his ears, sensing a close danger near by. He knew his wings were exposed for an attack, so he instantly folded them...
"Bear!" he hissed, bowing down into a defensive postion close to his mothers body.

Kaeinn knew this scene. She knew these sounds. She knew this moment. Time seemed to stop as she relived that day.
Kaeinn heard the high pitched squeal of her young pup from her den. She pricked her ears, waiting for her young son and daughter to come bounding over to her. They didn't. Instead, she heard Aiire howl in fright. Kaeinn felt panic rush into her veins. She raced down the valley, into the forest. Two yips of pain reached her ears. Aiire and Tyu. Her twin pups. She crashed through the underbrush and burst out into a clearing. A huge bear stood over Tyu, saliva dripping from his mouth. "NO!!!" she screamed. The bear looked startled, and lumbered away, but not before she had seen the blood smeared on its muzzle. Kaeinn stood in shock, her body not registering what she saw.
When she finally gained control over her body, the panic filled mother rushed to her son, nosing him, feeling for any sign of life. He groaned slightly. She breathed in relief, then looked around for her daughter. Aiire was no where to be seen. The white wolfess looked around frantically, then saw it. The trail of blood, and ripped fur. She approached cautiously, then poked her head under the bush. She almost gagged, the scent was so strong. There was Aiire. Or Aiire's body. It was mangled, and torn to shreds. Kaeinn let out a high pitched wail of anguish. Her daughter had been the bear's meal. She turned around, ready to go after the bear, ready to avenge her daughter, when she heard Tyu groan again. She rushed to him. "Tyu, Tyu," she whispered, her voice soothing. Tyu's eyes fluttered open. "Mama?" he whispered weakly. Kaeinn nuzzled his face. Tyu coughed. "Mama, I tried to protect her... I really did. I couldn't... Aiire is... She's dead! I'm sorry Mama! I couldn't save her!" That started a coughing fit. The she-wolf felt a stab of sorrow when she realized Tyu had seen the entire thing. "Mama, Aiire's waiting. I have to go..." he trailed off. Kaeinn shook her head. "No, baby, no, you have to stay with Mama." Tyu shook his head slightly. "No, Mama, Aiire's waiting. I gotta go. Don't be sad, we'll be back soon..." His eyes closed, and he stopped breathing. "NO!!! TYU, AIIRE, NO!!!" Kaeinn screeched in agony. She stumbled to her paws, and gave one last look to her dead pup. A tear trailed down her muzzle, and she took off into the forest, never looking back.
Kaeinn came back to the present, searching for the bear. Her eyes locked on its huge pelt. Anguish tore its way through her chest, and she gasped for breath. She looked between Zonar and Veluii, and the bear. She knew she had to do something. So she got ready to do the only thing that came to mind.

[AMAZING FIREFLY THAT WAS AWESOME ROLEPLAYING RIGHT THERE! -hits caps lock key- hehe, sorry I just felt as if I were reading a book right there... but I loved it!]
Zonar felt his hair prickle. "Kaeinn, you- you can't stay here... it's a grizzly, and-and all we need is other wolf hurt." he breathed softly to his new companion trying not to sob. Though he had not gotten to meet this wolfess well enough yet, he already felt a connection like she was apart of his family. "I can, lure him away Mother," The young winged wolf shivered. Staring at his heaving mothers chest move up and down.
He studied her, when he finally established what the problem was. Her eye was torn, which ran up to her ear. Zonar swung his head with anger as he saw her lower lip torn, her paws ripped up like a fresh killed hare. "I can help- you," he said in a mere murmur, he wish he could. As he looked up, the large bear was charging right at him. As if he were telling Zonar and Keainn to stay away from his prey.
"No, My mother is not prey!" he howled, flapping his wings instantly. The bear swatted at his hind legs, when a lash of blood escaped from his inner hind leg. Zonar twitched, slowly falling to the ground and the deep cut threw into an agonizing pain. Think of Mother, I can't fail with one injury...
Veluii opened one of her eyes slightly. I- I musn't fail, or... is Caxreit calling me already? Caxreit was the father of all wolves, he raised the first packs as one leader. He made everything for his packs perfect, he provided food and shelter, and everything... Veluii could only wish she was in the care of this great wolf right now, though she was the protector- she was the mother of her very own pack. "No..." she heaved, watching her dearest son fall. "Ayita... Ammeril..." she lipped, knowing not even a mouse could hear her.
When, Veluii finally opened her eyes. Her front paws were torn yet not broken, she got up slowly. Stumbling and collapsing as she saw the bear take one more charge at her young son on the ground. She shook her head, then took a weak- leap onto the grizzlies back. The bear only would roar when she dug her achy claws and teeth into the bears face. She knew exactly what to do until he took his blow to knock her off of him. Veluii smeared her bloody paws on his face, scratching at his eyes and muzzle. The bear let out an annoyed howl of pain then threw the wolfess off of him.
Veluii kept her eyes wide up, she slid against the discomfort of the muddy flooring under her... causing her ribs to shatter with pain. Though she shown nothing of this pain, she looked over to her right to see another different wolfess, perhaps Zonar was going to introduce this she - wolf to her for an acceptance?

Kaeinn's head spun. She saw the blood coming from Zonar's hind leg. She saw Veluii, helpless, thrown to the ground. She knew she had to do something. Fear clawed at her chest, choking off her breath. The wolfess gulped for air, her muscles trembling. She couldn't wait much longer. Veluii would become like...
Suddenly, the scene changed. Veluii's body shrank, and changed color. Then, she wasn't Veluii anymore. She was Aiire, the white she-wolf's dead daughter. Kaeinn's eyes shot to where Zonar had been just a moment before. But no, there was Tyu, unable to rescue his sister. Kaeinn's mothering instincts told her to save her helpless pups. Anger, love, selfless love, filled the hard space that fear had occupied. Kaeinn glanced at the bear, then let out a piercing howl.
The bear swung his huge head towards the she-wolf. Malice and hatred shone in his cold, beady eyes. A chill raced down Kaeinn's spine. The bear glared at her, and slowly crept towards this new target. Kaeinn trembled, then thought of her two pups. She had to save them. She couldn't let them go again. "Mama, Aiire's waiting. I have to go... No, Mama, Aiire's waiting. I gotta go. Don't be sad, we'll be back soon..." Tyu's small voice echoed through her mind. Kaeinn felt tears prickling behind her eyes. Mama, you have to do something, a quieter voice joined Tyu's. Aiire? Kaeinn's heart skipped a beat. Mama, you have to do something. For them. For us... The voice faded away, and a strange sense of peace flooded the white wolf's senses. She was sure that her daughter had been talking to her, even if just in her thoughts. Her limbs stopped shaking. Kaeinn turned her gaze sharply, and stared the approaching beast head on.
"You will not hurt them again," she growled, her voice low and menacing. The bear may not have understood her words, but he understood her tone. Rage filled his eyes. His muscles bunched, and he charged. Kaeinn was ready. She sprang into the forest, her heart thudding in her chest. She knew where she was headed. The ground shook as the bear pounded after her. She ran. The young wolfess tore through the forest, passion driving her, blood roaring in her ears. She slowed, looking back to make sure the ugly beast was still following her. He was. As soon as he caught sight of his prey again, he surged forward, gaining on her. Kaeinn pushed herself, ignoring the pain in her tired limbs. The large trees started to thin out. She was getting closer to where she wanted to be. The cliffs.

[Firefly. We need to talk.... THAT WAS THE BEST RPING I'VE EVER SEEN. LOL sorry, i feel like i'm repeating iris, but I loved how you tied that together, it's like it was a book. ] Ayita watched the whole thing, in shock. He'd never gone through something like this, he felt helpless. They've all got experience with this, and I have no idea what to do. THe young wolf's heart was pounding in his chest as he saw the selflessness they took for each-other. It was as though they were connected somehow. Mous-brain, they are, well, Velluii and Zonar are. He finally shook his head of his pointless thoughts. "That's no use! I've got to help somehow!" Atiya felt his pride re-build as he barked to himself, yet he couldn't stop the fear of something going wrong, terribly wrong.
After a few moments, he decided what to do. A surprise attack. He could launch himself into the air, and hit the bear with all his strength, and he'd never see it coming. He had to admit, he thought it was a fairly good plan, and crouched low to the ground. Ayita bunched up his muscles, and tucked in his wings. Then, with all his might he leaped into the air, struck out his wings and caught the wind, winding upwards. Atiya tucked in his legs and flapped his wings with all his strength. "This seems high enough." He murmured to himself in the air, then, letting himself drop, steadily spiraling into where the bear was. WAIT, WHERE IS IT? Panic struck Ayita as he sped towards the grond, where the bear was.
He saw Velluii on the ground, and Zonar, but where was the other one?.. Rage took over his mind and he frantically searched the ground of signs of her and the bear, to no avail. Then, he saw it. A ruffle in the trees and a flash of pelt. "There!" He exclaimed, quickly altering his wings and turning upward to follow the two. His eyes narrowed and the dark blue brute lowered himself, closer to the trees as he flew over them. He couldn't do anything as long as the bear was chasing her, and it looked like she had a plan. Suddenly, as though he had been blindfolded, he saw what she was aiming for. The cliffs. "No, you can't! You'll die!" He yowled to the she-wolf below him, hoping to warn her of the terrible fate that could occur.

Memories flashed in Kaeinn's mind. She could smell the decaying flesh of Aiire's body. The laughter of her twins when they would tumble around together. The thunderous flapping of bat wings. The cruel light in her father's eyes. The anguish her mother felt. The flood of sorrow that had over whelmed her when she had ran.
The wolfess raced through the forest, her paws pounding the dirt floor. She kept running, hoping to escape the reality that was steadily gaining on her like a hunter after its prey. The sky grew darker as a storm approached. Lightning split the sky, seeming to light up all the mistakes Kaeinn had made, highlighting the pain she had endured. The white she-wolf yelped in pain as a rock tore open the pad of her right front paw. She stumbled, but regained her balance. Her head was swimming, and her breathing was shallow. But, she could have sworn that there were two other wolves beside her. Kaeinn glanced to her right and left, her eyes rimmed with tears. "Aiire, Tyu..." She whispered the names of the two wolves running on either side of her. The gray wolfess looked at her mother. "Mama," she murmured, never breaking stride, "when you find someone you care about... Don't hesitate to give your life for them." Tyu, a light gold brute, turned to his mother. "We'll be back. And when we return, you'll know what to do." He smiled then, and his body faded with the wind. Kaeinn looked frantically to her right, only to see that her daughter was gone as well. "Why must you be so cruel?" she howled to the storm. "Why did you have to take them from me once more?" Her angry remarks were met with the rumble of thunder. The wolf stumbled, and fell. Her eyes closed, and she succumbed to merciful sleep.
The she-wolf returned to the present, closer to the cliffs than she had been before. She whipped her head around to see the bear gaining on her. Not much time, she thought to herself, her jaw set in determination. The gold chain on her foreleg jangled frantically, adding to the pandemonium that was unfolding before her. Her honey-amber eyes searched for any sort of escape, but none appeared. She skidded to a stop at the edge of the cliff, seeing nothing but trees and the rushing rapids of the Great River flowing below. The bear kept charging, kept loping towards her, until it was less than a fox length away from the wolfess. Kaeinn's eyes widened as she realized what was going to happen.
The bear smashed into her body at full force, sending them both careening over the edge. Kaeinn felt like she was suspended in midair for a second, then gravity took hold. Her heart thudded in her chest, and she couldn't catch her breath. The howl of the bear filled her ears, its panic stricken call showing her that it knew it was going to die. Strangely enough, before her body hit whatever was below her, she didn't see her life flash before her eyes. She saw what she thought was a wolf with wings, calling out to her. The she-wolf just laughed weakly, then her world was swallowed by darkness.

Ayita's eyes flashed with rage as he saw them head for the end of the cliff, as he pushed himself harder. His heart was beating faster than he could fly, and then reality splashed him in the face, when he saw them fall. His eyes widened and he shook his head in misbelief, he couldn't believe that had happened. All that, wasted? For what, a lost life? This can't happen, it can't... He repeated in his head, over and over, trying to not believe it. In a split second he realized the she-wolf may still have a chance, and he shot like an eagle with his new spirt of hope, when he saw it. He saw debris, that must've fallen off with them, and then he saw a creamy colored wolf with closed eyes, and a bear, struggling against gravity, pawing at the air.
He then decided that it wasn't over until she was safe, and took a bold leap as he jumped over the edge of the cliff. Not knowing if this was the last of daylight he would ever see, or thinking about the fact that he had nearly just committed suicide, he just did it. Then, as he neared where the wolfess was falling, he grabbed onto her pelt, and hoped for the best as he flapped his wings frantically to try and break their fall. As the ground neared, his fears grew. Not for the bear, of whom he was sure to die a the touch of ground. His fear was that they would share the same fate. In a blink of an eye, they touched down.
I cannot say that it was a perfect landing, nor can I say that they both were blown to pieces. THey both his the ground with force, but not enough to kill them. In a few seconds, the two wolves were on the ground, next to a fast moving river, which had swallowed up the menacing bear. Ayita lay strewn on his back, now, like the other, blacked out.

Kaeinn stumbled along a dark path, confused. Colors danced along either side, and she had the strangest feeling that if she strayed from the path she was on, she wouldn't be able to get to where she was going. She placed her paws as carefully as she could, but nevertheless, she slipped, and fell. She let out a cry for help, but it was quickly swallowed up by the colors. Kaeinn started to panic, when she felt herself being lifted up. Higher and higher she rose, until light started to consume her.
Kaeinn's eyelids fluttered open. She sucked in cool, fresh air, and blinked in the sudden light. The she-wolf tried lifting her head, but a stab of pain stopped her. She looked around, and noticed a dark blue wolf, seemingly unconscious, and the bear. Her heart stopped as she saw the odd angle at which it was lying. It's dead, she realized. She looked back at the brute, and something told her she had to help him. Ignoring the pain that sharpened whenever she moved, she somehow shuffled over to him. Kaeinn nosed the unconscious wolf, hoping he wasn't dead.

Ayita lay there, unconscious, as a cold nose touched him briefly. He opened his eyes, just barely, to close them tight against the sun. He then slowly opened them again, keeping them as slits as they adjusted to the brightness. Then, he saw shapes, blurry shapes. When the brute's vision cleared, he saw that it was the wolfess he struggled to save, and then the scene that had just played flashed in his mind. He tried to get up, but as he rose his head a sharp pain struck him, and his head fell to the ground again. Ayita struggled to form words, all that he could muster was, " H-how- wh- I-.." before he gave up.

Kaeinn's mothering instincts suddenly pushed to the front of her mind, dulling the pain somewhat. Her mind flashed back to the days when Tyu had Mountain Fever, and he would jerk uncontrollably, his mind elsewhere. Why am I thinking of them? she thought. I should be concentrating on the injured one here! Her legs screamed when she stood shakily, and limped closer to the fallen brute. She let herself down gently, her warm fur brushing against his. "Shh..." she murmured, feeling lightheaded. Nausea seeped into her body, causing her stomach to turn. "You're alive, that's all the matters..." Kaeinn was starting to feel drowsy. The urge to vomit was now stronger, and the wolfess chided herself silently for moving so drastically. "Th-thank you for s-saving..." she trailed off. Her eyelids dropped heavily, and between the sick feeling in the pit of her stomach, the pain in her limbs, and the feeling of not knowing what would happen next, she simply lay there, not moving except for the slight rise and fall with each of her pained breaths.

[ goodness i missed a lot !!! im sooo sorry i have not been able to get on. So much as been going on in my family and stuff so I haven't had the time to get on...]
Ammeril dashed towards her mother, who's body was limp. "I saw two other wolves, where are they! Mother!" Ammeril whimpered, the young, beautiful she-wolf had nothing for her to save her mother, but Veluii's body was cold- her heart heaving up and down from her chest, eyes staring into the darkness as if she were visioning something.
---
Zonar blinked, getting up slowly. His eyes drew a blank scene staring at his family members. "Everything, was going so well before." He breathed, cold overpowering him. "Mother needs someone to protect her, Ammeril- go find the others... please. I'll stay with Veluii." He ordered in a powerful voice. Zonar could no longer feel his pain, it was now about survival.
---
Ammeril nodded her head, suddenly unfolding her wings as she took many paw steps away from her mothers death circle. A tear rolled down her muzzle as she took off, howling loudly for the others to hear. She shook her head a few times. "Ayita!"
The white wolfess gasped as she peered down to these two limp bodies on the bottom of a cliff. "No!" she barked with pure anger, swooping down to the wolves. "Please, please!" she cried. Pawing at the bodies of the wolves. Ammeril's eyes narrowed, licking at the faces of Ayita and Kaeinn. When suddenly, a figure appeared above her.
The white wolfess shook with fear. "Twoleg." she breathed, growling at the skinny figure above her, "Get away! Don't hurt them!" she took a snarling bite at it, when she paused as the dreading silver stick pointed at her.
Everything seemed to pause, it all blurred out as time stopped. Ammeril looked at the two wolves then at the Twoleg. She must take the right choice, she knew to sacrifice herself- not no other, she changed. She must be strong.
The she wolf closed her eyes tight, the glow from them disappeared as she dove onto the vulnerable creature. She did not bite or claw, just stand on top of it, looking over her shoulder to see the two wolf figures tossing and turning.[/i]

Kaeinn opened her eyes groggily. They shut again, but she forced them open. The world seemed to spin as she staggered to her feet. She turned her head and vomited. Spitting the taste out of her mouth, she shook her tired limbs and slowly made her body turn around. At first she thought she was imagining things. It looked like there was a wolf on top of something. She squinted to clear her vision. A Twoleg. That's what it was on top of. The white wolfess shook her head and blinked. It was still there. "What's going on?" she rasped, her voice still not with her.

Ammeril shut her eyes, feeling a pang of pain fill into her ears, then into her flank. She cried, flying off of the Twoleg, almost staggering her way off the side of the cliff. Blood spilled from her side as she suddenly collapsed.
There was no inner thoughts, "Ra..." she began, opening her eyes to see the white wolfess trying to find her balance. Ammeril's bright eyes examined the wolf, her side was pink- covered in blood from the fall. She saw that she seemed to not have any life threatening injuries, so she yelped Run!! Ammeril closed her eyes lightly. Head pounding from brain cells going out of control. Her flank heaved up and down as the silver ball sat inside of her flesh. She wanted to tear that skinny piece of meat to death, but it had a death stick. Which pointed at her, then shot at her.

Death was a terrible thing... And it was happening. Ayita heard a bang, and jolted out of his unconsciousness. He saw Kaeinn, and then he saw Ammeril, being shot. His energy seemed to kick back in after seeing such terror. While the human was facing Ammeril, who was now just grasping for life, he snuck up from behind him and used all he had to launch on to him. There was still searing pain in Ayita's legs, but he ignored it. He got the human on the ground and Ayita dug his teeth into his leg. Instantly the human let out a yelp and Ayita realized what he had to do. He saw the river near them, and the large shining stick. The stick that nearly killed Kaeinn. He jumped off of the human, and while the twoleg was grasping his leg in pain, Ayita kicked the stick into the river, and watched it sink. Then, the human realized it there were terrible odds, and he scrambled onto his legs and ran far far away from them. Ayita couldn't help but let a tiny smile dance onto his face, which he soon lost, turning to care for Ammeril.
